The Dark Match will be live from Toronto, Ontario Canada witnessing NXT Takeover Toronto in person.  So what are we expecting?

Tye Dillenger Vs. Bobby Roode

Jeremy: Between the “10” Chants and the “Glorious” chants, half the live crowd’s brains are going to explode.  I don’t really know who to call for this.  Beyond his initial entrance, Roode’s first match was lacking.  His initial finishing move was a few humps below Road Dawg’s Pumphandle Slam.  He’s  improved vastly and quickly.  Tye, on the other hand, is a skilled ring technician.  I want Dillenger in this one.

Matt:  10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10.  Bobby Roode may be glorious, but this one is Dillinger all the way.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final

TM61 Vs. Authors of Pain

Jeremy: How about that terrible Photoshop job on the Authors of Pain, eh?  This match is going to be bonkers.  I just remembered Paul Ellering is going to be suspended above the ring in a shark cage. I have a feeling that with all the smoke and mirrors that maybe they don’t expect this match to really be any good.  Or maybe it’ll be crazy good.  I really don’t know.  I haven’t been paying attention to TM61.  I did see the AoP Vs. #DIY at NXT Hollywood.  They were more impressive than I was anticipating.  I wasn’t really expecting much.  Either TM61 are getting the rub of beating the undefeated Authors or they are giving them a monster push.  Ellering in the cage feels like a diversion. I think Authors of Pain are going to win after something shady.

Matt:  I’m actually going to go with TM61 here.  They’re the only team that has really been shown to challenge the Authors of Pain, and with the win over whatever the hell Sanity is TM61 looks good going into this closeout of the 2nd Annual Dusty Rhodes Classic.  TM61 will probably be next in line to challenge Ciampa and Gargano, who will win the tag title in Toronto.

2 out of 3 Falls Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship

#DIY Vs. The Revival (C)

Jeremy:  Like Takeover Brooklyn, I fully expect this to steal the show.  I also expect Johnny Wrestling and The Sicilian Psychopath to squeak out a 2-1 win.

Matt:  I think the top guys go down in this one, much like you do, because I’m expecting a Revival call up to Raw as part of Team Raw losing the Tag Team matchup at Survivor Series and Steph-Foley needing to “shake up the division”.  DIY with the 2-1 win.

NXT Women’s Championship Match

Mickie James Vs. Asuka (C)

Jeremy:  I’ve never watched a Mickie James match.  I know she’s a former champion, and that’s cool.  I hope she does well after being away from the WWE for so many years.  People seem excited.  But Asuka is going to take her down and keep her undefeated streak.  Asuka with the Asuka Lock.

Matt:  There are probably 20 female athletes working with NXT right now, and yet they had to pull a former Divas Champion out of retirement to come challenge Asuka.  She’s gotten no build, aside from the prerecorded promo that introduced her as the challenger.  Asuka just keeps getting squash matches.  Asuka is going to win and I think it’s a shame that it isn’t just Asuka against Ember Moon already.  Ember Moon is a monster.

NXT Championship Match

Samoa Joe Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (C)

Jeremy: I expect this to be another classic.  It’s going to be a hard fought match…with Joe losing once more.  This time, I expect Joe to finally make his way up to the main roster.  Nak is going to show once more why he’s one of the top guys in the world right now.  Shinsuke pins Joe via Pinfall.

Matt:  This is going to be a great one, as they’re both fantastic, but honestly I’m going to go the other way and say Joe gets the win here.  Joe’s come an awfully long way, and between him and The Revival, they’re running a clinic on how heels should be done.  Joe is the new NXT Champion.

Final Crazy Off-The-Wall Final Predictions

Jeremy:  Undertaker, as Mean Mark Callous, will show up on the wrong show and challenge Nakamura for the WCW Championship.  Samoa Joe and William Regal will announce a new sitcom for CBS coming next fall.  REEEEEGAL!!!!!

Matt:  Triple H will Pedigree Nakamura, granting Joe the victory.  It will be identical to the Kevin Owens Universal Title win.
